To promote the development of housing and help meet the objectives of the County’s Strategic Plan, the County permits ADU construction wherever single family or multi-family housing is allowed. Updates to County ADU regulations are needed to better conform to state guidance on statewide ADU laws, including parking standards, rebuilding following disasters, number of ADU units permitted, owner-occupancy rules and more.

The meeting is open to stakeholders and interested members of the public. For more on the County’s award-winning ADU program, visit http://www.sccoplanning.com/ad...
