Donations Needed For I-You Venture's Holiday Helper Program
The program helps make the holidays special for seniors who do not have friends or family to visit them.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — The Family Service Agency of the Central Coast is in need of donations for their annual Holiday Helper program. The program makes the holidays special for hundreds of seniors in Santa Cruz County care facilities who do not have friends or family to visit them.
Donations and wrapped gifts can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and noon through Dec. 7.
Gift suggestions include: new slippers, socks, shirts, lap blankets, scarves, stuffed animals, lotions, puzzle books and calendars. Those who donate wrapped gifts are asked to mark the packages with sizes and if they are for a man or a woman.

The I-You Venture is a nonprofit organization that serves residents of skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Santa Cruz County.
