Lecture: Natural History of the Amphibians of California

Dr Sinervo will be discussing the interesting evolved adaptations of the amphibians of California, with a focus on the color patterns of salamanders that mimic the deadly California Newt.

This presentation is the first in a series of field-based courses to create a group of citizen scientists that can make informed decisions on a multitude of environmental issues. A primary objective is to promote a broad-based knowledge of California's unique flora and fauna within a diverse environmental tapestry. Units include field trips.
