Leap Day Wedding Ceremonies In Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ - The Santa Cruz County Clerk’s Office is hosting special Leap Day wedding ceremonies Monday at its office in Santa Cruz.

Five couples have scheduled ceremonies with the office.

The cost is $100 and couples will receive a special souvenir marriage certificate, according to the clerk’s office.

“February 29 is a special day and couples who want to make it their wedding day will have plenty of opportunity to do so in Santa Cruz County,” County Clerk Gail Pellerin said in a statement.

The ceremonies will run from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the clerk’s office located at 701 Ocean St., Room 210 in Santa Cruz.
