Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Site Opening In Santa Cruz County
See who's currently eligible to get vaccinated and find out how to make an appointment.
WATSONVILLE, CA — Santa Cruz County's first mass COVID-19 vaccination site will be coming to Watsonville and able to vaccinate up to 210 people per day.
The site will operate 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Monday in the ADA-accessible city council chambers of Old City Hall at 250 Main St.

- Phase 1A health care workers (see details, proof of employment required)
- Santa Cruz County residents age 75 or older (proof of age required)
- Residents of 95019, 95076 and 95077 zip codes who are age 65 or older (proof of age and residence required)
OptumServe staff will administer the vaccine; appointments can be made here or by calling 877-218-0381.
The county said in a news release that it will not tolerate line-skipping, as vaccines given to elderly people are 300 times more likely to be life-saving than those administered to people under the age of 50.
