New Exhibit Lets Visitors Hear Animals At Monterey Bay Sanctuary

Visitors can hear the sounds of whales, dolphins, and other natural sounds, such as raindrops and earthquakes.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A new exhibit opens Friday in Santa Cruz that allows people to hear the sounds of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The unveiling of the new exhibit Sounds in the Sanctuary will get underway at 5 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. at the Sanctuary Exploration Center at 35 Pacific Ave.

Visitors can hear the sounds of whales, dolphins, and other natural sounds, such as raindrops and earthquakes, as they too travel through water.
