Woman Missing From Santa Cruz County Found Safe

SANTA CRUZ CONTY, CA — A missing woman reported missing near Davenport Monday afternoon has been located, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office. As of 11:45 a.m., sheriff's office spokespeople said that 29-year-old Katherine Harden was found safe and healthy. They went on to thank the public for its assistance.

Harden was reportedly going to Greyhound Rock, located approximately 10 miles north of Davenport, before she was reported missing, deputies said. She was seen walking south on state Highway 1 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., holding art supplies and a red and cream-colored blanket.

The sheriff's office's Search and Rescue Team conducted a search near Greyhound Rock after being alerted of her missing status.
