Fun is Back! Summer is about getting outside, seeing old friends, playing and just having fun. City of Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation has an exciting line-up of summer programs following all state and local guidance.

We are excited to bring our popular Little and Junior Guards programs back to the beach this summer. The program will offer both morning and afternoon sessions at Cowell Beach. Prior participants, who are City of Santa Cruz residents, will have priority registration. Check for special registration times at CityOfSantaCruz.com/Guards.
Summer Camps at Harvey West are back too! Our camp programs will still provide all the fun arts and crafts, games, activities, outdoor and growth experiences that we're known for while emphasizing and maintaining safety for all.

Beach Baseball Camp, Skateboard Camp and SUP/Kayak Camp are back this summer along with your favorite art, science and LEGO camps. There truly is something for everyone!
Online registration begins Saturday May 1st, 8:00 am for City Residents, 10:00 am for Non-Residents. To register online or to create an account, visit CityOfSantaCruz.com/Register. Parks and Recreation administration staff are available by phone Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 12:00p and 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at (831) 420-5270. Phone in registration will open Thursday, May 3rd at 9:00 am.
We know Santa Cruz families need our support more than ever and we are here to help. Friends of Parks and Recreation (FOPAR) scholarships are available for City of Santa Cruz Residents.
