PG&E Work Underway In Santa Cruz, Traffic Delays Thru Sept. 13
Work started Monday on Bay Street, between King and Mission streets.
SANTA CRUZ, CA — Work has begun on the Pacific Gas and Electric Company Gas Distribution Main Replacement Project in Santa Cruz, and there are some anticipated traffic delays.
The City of Santa Cruz approved the PG&E project and work started Monday on Bay Street, between King and Mission streets. The work will continue to the intersection of Bay and Mission streets. Work will take place weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday, September 13, according to the city.
Traffic delays are expected during construction with lane closures and detours. The public is advised to seek alternate routes. On-street parking in the vicinity may also be restricted.
