Chilly Nights, Rain Coming To Santa Cruz County
Two storms are expected to impact the San Francisco Bay Area region, bringing cooler temperatures, rain and wind, officials forecast.
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Locals can expect gusty winds, rain and cooler temperatures this work week as two storms head toward the region.
The National Weather Service forecast that light rain may continue into Tuesday morning as a lighter storm passes, but a stronger storm was expected to bring heavier rain late Wednesday to Thursday. Thunderstorms could be possible Thursday night, but weather officials had yet to add it to the forecast as of Monday.
Tuesday night would see the coldest temperatures of the week, with most of the region seeing temperatures in the 30s and low 40s, but the Monterey/San Benito area could drop to the 20s. Weather is expected to warm up this weekend, but rain is possible, too.
