According to Caltrans, the closures of these on and off ramps are necessary to permit installation of thermoplastic pavement markings. Temperatures at night are too cold to work with these materials which necessitates these daytime closures.
Drivers are advised to expect delays of up to ten minutes.
Message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.
Caltrans is reminding drivers to move over and slow down when driving through highway work zones.
