Santa Cruz Kaiser Permanente Arena Opens As Vaccination Site
Thursday was the first day that the site opened to the public. Find out how to schedule an appointment.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz opened Thursday as a COVID-19 vaccination site.
Home of the Santa Cruz Warriors, the arena at 140 Front St. is now an appointment-only center expected to be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, depending on vaccine supply, according to a news release from the Warriors.
“We are proud to have Kaiser Permanente as a partner of the Santa Cruz Warriors and are excited to serve our community as a vaccination site,” said Santa Cruz Warriors President Chris Murphy in the news release. "Kaiser Permanente continues to step up as a leader across our entire County, and I look forward to working with them to vaccinate our local community members and move closer to the end of this pandemic.”

Kaiser Permanente's Northern California sites had administered more than 947,000 vaccine doses as of Tuesday, according to its website.
