Santa Cruz Man Surrenders In Unreported Death: Police
Police found a crime scene and dead woman in a recreational vehicle in which she appeared to live.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — A Santa Cruz man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder after he turned himself in Thursday evening in connection with an unreported death, police said.
Beau Joseph Paepke, 30, was booked into jail Friday and is also facing felony charges related to violating a domestic violence protective order and parole after he led officers to the scene of an apparent crime: a recreational vehicle parked in the 100 block of Front Street where police found the body of a woman who had been living there, the Santa Cruz Police Department said in a statement.
Police described the dead woman as a 33-year-old woman who stayed in the Santa Cruz area. Her name has not been released as officers seek to make contact with her family.
