Santa Cruz Overlay Construction Schedule July 1-7

The City of Santa Cruz 2021 Overlay Project will continue pavement operations with anticipated traffic delays beginning Thursday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 7, weekdays only from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Thursday and Friday, July 1-2, construction will begin at the following locations:
· Fairmount Avenue from N. Branciforte Avenue to Morrissey Boulevard.

· Market Street from Avalon Street to Stoney Creek Road.
Pavement work will continue Tuesday and Wednesday, July 6-7, at:
· Fairmount Avenue from N. Branciforte Avenue to Morrissey Boulevard.
Traffic control will be in place during construction hours with construction schedule and locations updated at www.cityofsantacruz.com/currentconstruction. The public is advised to seek alternate routes when possible.
This Measure D and Measure H funded project continues into mid-July and includes grinding existing pavement, cold in-place recycling, installation of hot mix asphalt pavement, and roadway striping.
