Santa Cruz Residents Wanted For Transportation Committees

There are vacancies on several the county's transportation committees.

SANTA CRUZ, CA — Santa Cruz County residents are being sought for advisory committees for the county's Regional Transportation Commission.

There are vacancies on the county's Measure D Taxpayer Oversight Committee, the Bicycle Advisory Committee, and the Elderly & Disabled Transportation Advisory Committee, three panels that advise the commission on various transportation-related issues and projects.

The taxpayer oversight committee reviews how the county spends funds from 2016's Measure D, a half-cent sales tax for transportation improvements.
