Seeking Summer Host Families for students from Spain

As Local coordinator based in Santa Cruz, I am looking for families in the area that are interested in opening up their homes and their hearts to give a foreign exchange student an opportunity to experience living here for a month this summer. I think an exchange student would be so lucky to call Santa Cruz home!

Are you able to refer a family, or host a student between June 26th and July 24th?

On this program, teenage exchange students and a group leader come to the United States with the goal of improving their English and learning about American culture. Students participate in daily classes and activities, which hosts may also attend.

We accept all kinds of host families (with kids or without, young couples, older couples, single parents, etc.). We have students from Spain who would LOVE to come study in America. All students have their own health insurance and spending money. Host families simply supply a bed and three meals a day.

*Host families in California receive a small weekly stipend of $50 to help offset any expenses incurred while hosting*

It's an incredible opportunity to learn about another culture while sharing your own. As the local rep, I would be a resource in Santa Cruz for the host families this summer and students on a regular and on-call basis.
