Cold weather didn't dampen huge crowds from watching the annual parade of lighted boats, a Santa Cruz holiday annual festival.

Restaurants were full, but those who showed up early found parking. 

The parade started at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and had watchers transfixed with more boats and skillful designs than ever. Lots of music too, as people on board danced to a range of tunes from reggae to Christmas music.
