State Route 9 Closes After Pole Crashes Down Onto Car
The incident was reported at 9:26 a.m. Wednesday.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA -- A SigAlert was issued Wednesday morning after a pole came crashing down on a car on state Route 9 in Santa Cruz County. The California Highway Patrol said the incident was reported at 9:26 a.m. near Glen Arbor Road, prompting a response from medics.
The CHP incident log said the pole and wires came down on the vehicle. Pacific Gas and Electric was called to the scene.
A SigAlert was issued at about 10:30 a.m. for the highway closure from Glen Arbor Road to Park Way. It is expected to last for three hours.
