Supes To Consider First-Ever Proposed Strategic Plan

The plan includes a vision, mission, set of values as well as goals.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Santa Cruz County supervisors will consider the county's first-ever proposed strategic plan at their meeting Tuesday. The plan is the result of comments from thousands of residents and county employees and will be used to guide county operations and resources over the next six years.

The plan includes a vision, mission, set of values as well as goals and focus areas, including health and safety, housing, transportation, the economy, the environment and county operational excellence.

"We know there are challenges ahead as we improve county operations and the quality of life for all Santa Cruz County residents," county administrative officer Carlos Palacios said in a statement. "We expect
this document will serve as a guide as we rise to meet those challenges."
