The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) will hold public open house meetings to solicit community input on the Transit Corridor Alternatives Analysis (TCAA).

In November 2019, the RTC in partnership with Santa Cruz METRO began the TCAA, a year-long study that will evaluate high-capacity public transit options that provide an integrated transit network for Santa Cruz County utilizing all or part of the length of the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line. Intercounty and interregional connections to Monterey, Gilroy, the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond will be considered.

Community members are invited to attend the meetings and provide valuable input on the draft initial list of transit alternatives that will be looked at and the draft goals/screening criteria/performance measures that will be used to narrow the list down to a locally-preferred alternative that will best serve and connect the Santa Cruz County community. During the open house meetings, participants will have the opportunity to review displays, talk one-on-one with project team members and provide input.
