Wearable Tech is the Focus of UCSC Conference Tonight

Computers you wear, such as Google Glass, is the future, say many innovators.

UCSC's Engineering Department is holding a free Thursday conference to meet some of those on the cutting edge of the technology, including Jason Gui, who has a headset that keeps you awake and raised $43,000 on kickstarter for it; Alex Lui, founder of Wearable Watch; Jocab Rosen, a professor whose focus is robotics; filmaker Noel Victor, UCSC economics prof Kai Pommerenke.

It's being held in Engineering 2, room 180 at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
