SANTA CRUZ, CA — The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for the Santa Cruz Mountains from 8 p.m. Monday night through 10 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Winds to the north at 15 to 25 miles per hours are expected, with gusts up to 55 miles per hour at the highest peaks.
The advisory was also issued for areas along the Peninsula coast. Winds are expected to diminish by Tuesday afternoon.
