While media reports stated that according to FAA reports the plane that crashed at Santa Monica Airport Sunday night was registered to Creative Real Estate Exchange LLC based in Alabama and Georgia, the company's owner said he does not own a plane.
AL.com reports  that owner John Woodruff told the online news site, "I don't own a plane. I wish I did."
FAA reports also state that the owner of the plane lives in Malibu.Â
