With locations in Santa Monica, at 2309 Main St., and in downtown Los Angeles, at 516 W. 6th St., the eatery is known for its one month-only, limited-edition creations.
And the August menu will not disappoint with four doughnut options that evoke a summertime, childhood theme:

- Chocolate S’Mores: Bittersweet chocolate glaze, graham cracker crumble and flame-torched marshmallow in this cake doughnut inspired by the beloved campfire treat.
- Cherry Pie: All the flavor of the rich fruit pie in a pillow doughnut featuring cherry compote, tart red cherry glaze, pie crust crumble and powdered sugar dusting.
- Blueberry Cotton Candy: A colorful, fruity take on the amusement park confection with blue cotton candy glaze and blueberry drizzle topped with blue sugar sprinkles.
- Lemonade Poppy Seed: Sweet and tart summer refreshment in a doughnut with lemonade glaze and poppy seed sprinkles.
Along with its rotating menu of seasonal doughnuts, East Coast-based Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken also serves specialty doughnut sandwiches, creative takes on fried chicken and unique side dishes – as well as some exclusive, locally-inspired flavors and menu items just for the Los Angeles region, according to management.
