Caltrans Driver Injured In Crash On 10 Freeway In Santa Monica
The driver's truck was rear-ended during a sweeping operation and he was transported to a hospital for treatment.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A Caltrans driver was injured Wednesday when his truck was rear-ended on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway, according to a spokesman for the state transportation agency.
The crash took place on the westbound 10 Freeway near 20th street about 10 a.m., Caltrans spokesman Jim Medina said.
"The driver's truck was rear-ended during a sweeping operation," Medina said. "The driver was transported to a hospital. His condition was not known."

There's also no word on the condition of the other driver.
The crash was being investigated by the California Highway Patrol, said CHP Officer Amber Wright.
