Previous or Current Elected or Appointed Office

N/A

The single most pressing issue facing our (state, district, community, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Disenfranchised residents!
The Santa Monica City Council has been taken over by special interests!
If elected I will empower residents by implementing a 24/7 interactive and moderated Virtual Town Hall on the City Website with FREE Wi-Fi for transparency and to hold our elected and appointed officials accountable for what they have done to our city!

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have NEVER been appointed for political office, so I can NOT be bought by ANY special interests! I will ONLY represent the Residents using the the Zoom interface to achieve consensus!

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

All the incumbents have ignored the resident constituency. They have SOLD OUT the public and failed our community! Almost all have been appointed, and endorsed by developers/city employees and local political coalition networks.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform

Leveling the playing field to give residents a voice in determining policy on crime and homelessness!

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

By running for office as an activist outsider, without ANY special interest support I am able represent ONLY the residents, without compromise!
I was the first candidate with an agenda to close SMO, the only candidate to demand priority registration for SM residents at SM College, and I have pushed the envelope for pragmatic solutions to reverse the escalation of crime and homelessness caused by our City Council!

If you win this position, what accomplishment would make your term in office as a success?

A 24/7 Virtual Town Hall would implement real grass roots, participatory democracy and transform government!
It would spread to other cities, and reform government at all levels; county, state and federal!
Most of all it would take money out of politics and restore government of, by and for the people!

Why should voters trust you?

I CAN'T BE BOUGHT!

What are your views on fiscal policy, government spending and the use of taxpayer dollars in the office you are seeking?

I would have a forum on the Virtual Town Hall for residents to reach consensus to audit and streamline the bloated budget, with a line item veto to eliminate, overpaid bureaucrats, nepotism, cronyism, government waste, non essential services and revolving door government!

Is there any reason you would not serve your full term of office, other than those of health or family?

Absolutely none, I would serve as long as it takes to clean up this city!

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

“Whoever fights monsters should not become a monster. If you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.”
― Friedrich Nietzsche
“I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.”
Mahatma Gandhi

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

My 10 years in law enforce me has taught me that coddling criminals enables and encourages crime.
As a Probation Officer and Parole Agent I worked closely with the police, using my search and seizure to violate repeat offenders.
If elected I will order the new Chief of Police to work with correction officers to identify and prosecute violent offenders in their caseload, ban repeat offenders and commit mentally ill offenders in treatment.
Drug treatment is only effective if the addict commits, but in any case I would crack down heavily on drug use in our parks and streets!
