SANTA MONICA, CA — Heal the Bay's aquarium reopens this weekend at the Santa Monica Pier, offering Angelenos a great local getaway and fun spring activity.
The outdoor patio opens Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. for its Earth Day celebration.
The aquarium has more than 100 local species on exhibit, activities for kids and educational programs.

Health and safety will be a top priority as people begin visiting the location again, organizers said. The aquarium will follow COVID-19 guidelines and asks that visitors reserve tickets in advance.
Adults and kids ages 13 and older are $5. Kids 12 and under are free with an adult ticket purchase - children must be accompanied by an adult. Group rates are $10 for a group of five people, regardless of age.
