Here's How To Win A Valentine's Day Date On Santa Monica Pier

SANTA MONICA, CA — Want to take your sweetheart on a Valentine's Day date night? Pacific Park and DiscoverLA are hosting a #Tags2day contest on Tuesday, February 11, and one lucky winner will win a Valentine's Day date night experience on the Santa Monica Pier.
To enter, follow @discoverla and @pacpark on Instagram and tag one friend on the post for the contest, which will be published Tuesday, for a chance to win two unlimited ride wristbands, two scoops of ice cream, $50 in game-play from Pacific Park, as well as a meal for two (up to a $100 value) at The Lobster atop the Santa Monica Pier.
Renowned viola player Daniel Morris will perform live at Pacific Park on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14, to "enhance the romantic mood for Ferris wheel riders under the moonlight on the Santa Monica Pier," the Pacific Park press release said.

"This is a sweetheart deal for one lucky couple to ride the world-famous Ferris wheel, play in the Park and enjoy a delicious complimentary dinner at The Lobster on Valentine’s Day or on a future date night," Nathan Smithson, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Pacific Park, said. "On Valentine’s Day romance will definitely be in the air as guests take a turn on the beautifully lighted Ferris wheel amidst the sweet sounds of a live violaist 130 feet above the Pacific Ocean while enjoying one of the most romantic views in Los Angeles."
Plus, from sunset to midnight on Monday, February 10, through Sunday, February 16, Pacific Park's Ferris wheel will be lit up in red, pink and white lighting patterns with hearts and emojis. The Ferris wheel was named a can't-miss spot in USA Today's "The Romantic Places for Couples in Los Angeles," and AAA Westways magazine named the Ferris wheel one of LA's "Great Places to Make a Romantic Proposal."

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier is LA's only admission-free amusement park. There are 12 amusement rides, 14 midway games, an oceanfront food plaza and beachside shopping.
