Keep Your Packages Safe At SMPD's Holiday Substation
The Substation on 3rd Street Promenade will have an impromptu Coffee with a Cop Café, free weekend gift wrapping and more.
SANTA MONICA, CA – The Santa Monica Police Department will keep your packages safe this holiday season at their Holiday Substation located at 1313 3rd Street Promenade, it was announced Tuesday.
The Holiday Substation will be open from Nov. 30 through Dec. 31 and will operate as a fully functioning space for SMPD personnel to work and shoppers to visit. An impromptu Coffee with a Cop Café will be on site for shoppers to stop by and grab a cup of coffee with an officer, become familiar with the police department and have a friendly conversation. There will also be a display area open for the community to see various technological resources and equipment used by officers.
On weekends, a gift wrapping service run by the Santa Monica Police Department Explorer Program will be available to holiday shoppers in addition to the daily package valet, where shoppers can safely lock and secure purchases while enjoying the Promenade area.
