Kelly Preston Dies After 'Courageous Fight' Against Breast Cancer
Actress Kelly Preston has died after a two-year battle with breast cancer, her husband John Travolta announced late Sunday.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Actress Kelly Preston has died after a two-year battle with breast cancer, her husband John Travolta announced late Sunday. She was 57.
"It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer," Travolta wrote on Instagram.
Travolta and Preston married in 1991.

"She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many," Travolta said. "My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered. I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal."
Preston was keeping her fight private, a family representative told PEOPLE.

Travolta and Preston had three children together, sons Jett and Benjamin and daughter Ella.
In 2009, their 16-year-old son Jett died after a seizure during a trip in the Bahamas.
Preston and Travolta are longtime members of the Church of Scientology.
The actress was known for her roles in "Jerry Maguire" and "For Love of The Game." Preston most recently acted in "Gotti" in 2018.
