SANTA MONICA, CA — Krispy Kreme is offering a sweet deal: a free glazed donut if you show your COVID-19 vaccination card, the company announced.

The sweet incentive starts Monday and is offered through the end of 2021 at U.S. shops, USA Today reports.

The company wants "to show our support for those who choose to get vaccinated," they announced. "Anyone who shows their COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card will receive a free Original Glazed doughnut."

Krispy Kreme also will support health care workers and volunteers who are helping administer vaccines, delivering free doughnuts to select vaccination centers throughout the country in the coming weeks, according to a news release.

Krispy Kreme is also offering its employees four hours of paid time off to get vaccinated.

“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer.
