Lionsgate Announces Deal With 'Two And A Half Men' Producers

Eric and Kim Tannenbaum will create scripted programming for the studio through their Tannenbaum Company production banner.

SANTA MONICA, CA – Lionsgate Monday announced a multiyear television deal with Eric and Kim Tannenbaum, whose producing credits include "Two and a Half Men," to create scripted programming for the studio through their Tannenbaum Company production banner.

The Tannenbaums' company has been based at CBS Television Studios for eight years. Their other producing credits include the reboot of "The Odd Couple," which starred Matthew Perry; "Young & Hungry," the highest-rated comedy on the Disney-owned Freeform cable network; "Impastor" for TV Land; and, most recently, TBS' "The Last O.G." from Oscar-winning creator Jordan Peele and John Carcieri.

Earlier in his career, Eric Tannenbaum founded and was president of Artists Television Group; and president of Columbia TriStar Television, where he helped shepherd such comedy hits as "Mad About You," "The Nanny," "The King of Queens," "Dawson's Creek" and "Party of Five."

Kim Tannenbaum developed "The Ellen Show" and "The $treet" while serving as EVP of creative affairs at ATG and "The King of Queens" as an executive at Columbia TriStar Television.
