Longest-Serving Councilmember To Be Honored at City Hall
The councilmember has served the city of Santa Monica for nearly 25 years.

Councilmember Bob Holbrook, the longest-serving elected official in the city of Santa Monica’s history, will be honored on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 5:30 at City Hall Council Chamber.
“Dr. Robert Holbrook, ‘Bob’ as we all know him, loves his hometown of Santa Monica and he leaves an unparalleled legacy of public service including eight years on the Santa Monica Malibu School Board, 24 years on the Santa Monica City Council and serving twice as Mayor, “ said current Mayor Pam O’Connor. “His common sense and good humor will be missed. We wish him well in his retirement from the Santa Monica City Council.”
Holbrook, who is from Santa Monica and has held his position for nearly 25 years, will be honored with a special gift at the ceremony, located at 1682 Main Street.
