Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier hosted more than 500 kids recently from the Santa Monica Police Activities League as part of the ninth annual Palpalooza.

The children received a free, back-to-school treat with Pacific Park’s 12 rides, 17 midway games and a variety of food, including cotton candy, popcorn and ice cream.

The Santa Monica PAL is Pacific Park’s primary charitable organization on the Westside.
