Police Search For Suspect Who Attacked Asian Man At Third Street
Police are asking the public for help to find a woman suspected of attacking an elderly Asian man at a market on Third Street Promenade.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Police are asking the public to help identify a woman suspected of attacking an elderly Asian man with her shopping car earlier this month at a Third Street Promenade market.
Officers responded to the assault around 9:30 a.m. May 1 at the Trimana Market, 1348 3rd Street Promenade, near Santa Monica Boulevard, police said. The victim started recording the altercation and suspect on his cell phone. She left before officers arrived.
The suspect was described by authorities as a Black woman in her 50s, 5 feet 7 inches tall. She was wearing a burgundy jacket and camouflage pants.
