Rain Or Shine? Here’s The Memorial Day Forecast For Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, CA — Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer in Santa Monica, and this year, many residents will mark the new season with a three-day weekend filled with memorial services, outdoor events and backyard barbecues.

At this point, your weekend is likely planned to a T. But, as most of us know, Mother Nature could always step in and ruin that carefully outlined itinerary with a trifecta of rain, storms and cloudy skies.

So far, Santa Monica looks as if it will avoid a gloomy meteorological fate, according to the most recent forecast for our area.

As you wrap up work Friday evening, expect a mostly cloudy evening with a low around 58 degrees.

Saturday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 68.

Saturday night: Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Sunday: Patchy fog. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 67.

Sunday night: Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 57.

Memorial Day: Patchy fog. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 68.
