Liven Up Your 'Stay-At-Home' & Cook With L.A. Celeb Chef Gino
Santa Monica's Gourmandise School is going online with cooking classes led by chef and author Gino Campagna. P.S.: The kids will love it!

SANTA MONICA, CA — Getting creative as statewide mandates banned gatherings due to coronavirus concerns, The Gourmandise School of Sweets & Savories in Santa Monica canceled in-person classes, turning instead to online cooking lessons led by Los Angeles-based celebrity chef Gino Campagna.
For this new venture aimed at sheltering-in-place families, Gourmandise has partnered with Chef Gino, a popular television cooking-show host and author of "Chef Gino's Taste Test Challenge," for a daily livestream show, "Cook-In with Chef Gino."
Classes will begin at 5 p.m. via Gourmandise's Instagram channel (@gourmandisela) with virtual demonstrations of cooking tutorials for families.

Campagna each day will select one submission from a youngster, who will share what pantry staples and food items they currently have at home, and the next show will feature the chef showing kids how to make dinner with those on-hand ingredients, according to a Gourmandise spokesperson.
Founded in 2011, The Gourmandise School of Sweets & Savories, located on Santa Monica Place in downtown Santa Monica, routinely is touted among the area's best culinary schools for its bustling, hands-on cooking and baking classes for adults, teens and children. During the COVID-19 shutdown, the business also has launched "an email hotline" for people to send any and all baking and cooking questions to its instructors. The email is hotline@thegourmandiseschool.com.
