Santa Monica Mansion Lists for $34.99 Million [PHOTOS]

Newly built seven-bedroom mansion on the Riviera Country Club features a library, two kitchens and dining room that seats 25.

A mansion on San Vicente Boulevard, reportedly designed by Los Angeles-based architect Richard Landry, has hit the market seeking nearly $35 million.

On 1.3 acres fronting the Riviera Country Club, each of its seven bedrooms boasts 12-foot ceilings and french doors that open to a grassy yard with views of the golf course.

There are two kitchens (one is for caterers), a breakfast room, a dining room that seats 25 and a 2,500-square-foot master suite. Also listed among the home's amenities: a library with a fireplace, an indoor basketball court, gym, spa, screening room and 15-car garage.

According to LA Curbed, the home was listed 2010 years ago before it was even finished:

We first saw it back in 2010 when it was more or less a pile of two by fours and some dirt (and asking $17.995 million, eventually chopped to $13.995 million). Word was that the owners were sick of dealing with permit issues—a particular hassle because the property sits in both Santa Monica and the city of LA—and decided to list it as-was. That didn't work out and the house was finally pulled off the market in mid-2011. Now it's been finished...
