Santa Monica Triathlete to Compete in Beijing International Triathlon

Parker recently took first place at the New York City Triathlon in July.

Santa Monica athlete Jenna Parker is set to compete along with 500 triathletes in the upcoming Beijing International Triathlon in September. 

Parker, who recently took first place at the New York City Triathlon in July, will be in the company of the world's elite triathletes, including Olympic medalists, IRONMAN champions and Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon winners. 

This will be Jenna’s second straight year racing in the Beijing International Triathlon. She has raced in seven events this season with another six races planned for this fall.

The pro triathlete and former star swimmer at Harvard trains seven days a week for four to six hours per day.
