Sections of Colorado Avenue Closing for Expo Construction

Construction on the Expo Line will require closing sections of Colorado Avenue between 4th and 17th streets during the day this week, according to the Civil Engineering division of the Santa Monica Department of Public Works.

Road work elsewhere around the city may cause temporary lane closures and delays during daylight hours. The affected areas include: 

• Neilson Way between Pico Boulevard and south City limit 
• Broadway between 2nd and 4th streets 
• 4th Street at Civic Center Drive 
• Ocean Avenue between Pico Boulevard and Pacific Terrace 
• Olympic Boulevard between 20th and 26th streets 
• 2nd Street between Broadway and Santa Monica Boulevard
