Shirley Temple Black’s Childhood Santa MonicaHome Sells for $2.489 Million

Shirley Temple Black’s childhood Santa Monica home has just sold for $2.489 million.

The former child star is now 85-year-old and she lived in the Spanish style home at 948 24th St. when she was a child, right before the height of her stardom.

The house was only on the market for two weeks and according to realtor.com, there are high-end upgrades throughout the three bedroom, two bathroom home, which was built in 1926.

Among the features in the home are stainless appliances with an eight burner Viking stove in the kitchen, refinished hardwood floors, new master and guest bathrooms with matching decorative tile details, vaulted, wood beam ceilings, a large and private, grassy and  landscaped garden with apricot, apple and plum trees.
