Sumo Dog To Close In Santa Monica
The restaurant, which serves Asian fusion hot dogs and burgers, announced it will be closing its location at The Gallery Food Hall.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Sumo Dog, known for its Asian fusion hot dogs, is closing their location at The Gallery Food Hall in Santa Monica Wednesday. The eatery announced its closing in an Instagram post Monday.
"Sumo Dog will be closing its location at The Gallery Food Hall effective Wednesday, June 5th," the post said. "We look forward to sharing with our fans, both old and new, what we have planned for Sumo Dog in the next few months."
Sumo Dog's menu ranges from spicy tofu chili and bacon banh mi hot dogs, to a sumo burger. They serve hot dogs, burgers, sides and desserts with pork, beef and vegan options.

The Instagram announcement did not give a reason as to why Sumo Dog was closing.
