Suspect Could Be Tied To At Least 7 Burglaries, Police Say
Police are searching for a suspect they say could be tied to at least seven burglaries at businesses in the Santa Monica area.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Authorities are searching for a man suspected in at least seven burglaries at businesses in Santa Monica.
The suspect has targeted businesses, including nail salons, restaurants, clothing stores, hotels and medical offices along Wilshire Boulevard, Montana Avenue and Lincoln Boulevard, according to Santa Monica Police Department.
"The suspect enters the businesses through an open rear door and goes to 'employees only' areas and steals wallets, cell phones and other employees’ property," officials said. "The suspect is responsible for at least seven burglaries."

Police describe the suspect as a Black man in his 20s with a thin build, short dreadlocks and thin mustache. He has been seen wearing a colorful backpack with Bart Simpson graphic print, green camouflage hoodie, black “Puma” long sleeve hoodie, gray pants with black stripes and blue bandana with circular patterns.
