Swingers Diner To Close Santa Monica Location
The company cited rising business costs as the main reason for closing their Santa Monica location. The Hollywood diner will remain open.
SANTA MONICA, CA — Swingers diner will close its Santa Monica location on Saturday, August 31.
The restaurant owners told staff of their decision this week, citing the cost of business as the primary reason, the Santa Monica Daily Press reported.
"This has been a tough and emotional decision for us to make, but one that is necessitated by business circumstances. Continual rising costs, food, labor, and operating expenses made our business model impossible to continue to maintain," the company's statement said. "To all of our talented cooks, servers, hosts, bussers, dishwashers, managers both past and present and to our guests, our friends, and family…you have enhanced our lives, and we want to say Thank You for the journey."
