SANTA MONICA, CA — Due to the popularity of its weekend lunches, Tallula's, a Mexican restaurant in Santa Monica, is expanding its hours beginning Saturday, July 6 through Sept. 1 (for now!) to include brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The eatery, located at 118 Entrada Drive and part of the Rustic Canyon Family restaurant group, still will open at 12 p.m. Fridays, and now also will open at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays for brunch.

The new brunchtime fare, according to Executive Chef Saw Naing, will include a Breakfast Bowl with eggs, thick-cut bacon, pinto beans, rice, avocado, cabbage slaw and pico de gallo, along with Chilaquiles or Menudo topped with a sunny egg.
