Tobey Maguire Sold Santa Monica Compound for Tidy Profit
The "Spider-Man" star made about a 24-percent profit from the sale.

SANTA MONICA, CA — Tobey Maguire has sold his Santa Monica compound for a tidy profit, according to media reports.
The 41-year-old "Spider-Man" star sold his Mission-style property last week for about 24 percent more than what he paid for it less than two years ago, according to Realtor.com.
The compound was sold for $3.325 million. Maguire and his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, bought the property for $2.675 million in May 2015, according to Variety.

Maguire and Meyer called quits in 2016 after nine years of marriage. The micro-compound was put on the market shortly thereafter.
The three-building compound sits on a large 8,000-square-foot lot on a tree-lined street in Santa Monica, right up against the city’s border with Los Angeles, according to Realtor.com.
