Traffic Snarled After Crash On Pacific Coast Highway
A crash prompted heavy traffic on Pacific Coast Highway and the Santa Monica (10) Freeway early Wednesday.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A crash snarled traffic along Pacific Coast Highway to the Santa Monica (10) Freeway and McClure Tunnel early Wednesday in Santa Monica, officials said.
The crash happened on the sidewalk near the Jonathan Club on Pacific Coast Highway near California Incline about 7:15 a.m., according to the Santa Monica Fire Department. It's unclear if anyone was injured.
At one point, only one southbound lane was open on PCH and traffic was backed up to Chautauqua Boulevard, according to reports. The northbound turn lane was blocked and traffic was heavy on the 10 Freeway.

Drivers were warned to expect possible delays in the area.
