Vigil & Group Meditation For Palestine Planned On Westside

Community members are invited to join a vigil and group meditation session for Palestine Thursday night.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A vigil and group meditation for Palestine will be held in Santa Monica Thursday night.

Community members are invited to gather at Clover Park, 2600 Ocean Park Blvd. at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The event is sponsored by the U.S. Palestinian Community Network, Jewish Voice for Peace at UCLA, Jewish Voice for Peace Los Angeles and #VigilantLove.

Palestinian community members are calling for liberation and support for Palestinian lives.

Hundreds of protesters have gathered over the last few days in Los Angeles outside the Consulate General of Israel to recognize Palestinian rights amid the ongoing violence between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, calling for leaders to free Palestine and stop the ongoing apartheid.
