CALIFORNIA — Make the most of the "spookiest" time of the year with free kids' meals, restaurant discounts and menu specials in California.

Eateries throughout the Golden State are stepping up this Halloween offering deals that may appeal to residents, particularly those with little, costumed trick-or-treaters.

APPLEBEE'S: Face your fears, and enjoy $1 Vampire - a spooky, 10-ounce concoction of rum, strawberry, dragon fruit, passion fruit and pineapple. The specialty drink is offered at all locations through October. Info here.

CHEESECAKE FACTORY: From Oct. 28 through Oct. 31, patrons will be treated to one complimentary slice of REESE’S Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Cheesecake or HERSHEY’S Chocolate Bar Cheesecake with their Cheesecake Factory order of $30 or more through DoorDash by using promo code “TREATORTREAT” at checkout.

CHIPOTLE: The Boorito offer returns Oct. 31, from 3 p.m. to close, where customers in costume can get a burrito, bowl, salad or tacos for $4 and can scan for Chipotle Rewards. And guests can enter the Boorito TikTok Challenge Contest for chance to win free burritos for a year. Information.
