There were 40 homes sold in Santee in May, down 31 percent compared to April sales, according to a Willis Allen Real Estate video report. 

Here's the May breakdown for Santee:

• 56 active listings, down 60 percent compared to last year, down 12 percent from April
• $354,400 median listing price, and $362,500 median sales price
• average 37 days on the market
• 40 units sold, compared to 58 in April
